Clouds in distance are corrupt again since 2.8.

Best to see with high contrast clouds, like overcast or evening/night time.

Far away cloud are extremely pixelated and do shimmering during head motion.

Happens on all maps, even PG with new lightening.

Don´t know why all reports here about broken clouds are without tracks or usable vids.

So i have attached a track and can deliver more if you like. Would be great if someone can have a look. It´s really not that hard to see this glitch everywhere.

Even in actual you tube vids you can see these (could link some if it is allowed)

Best regards and hopefully this could be fixed soon.

I noticed today that looking at the horizon, if i tilt the aircraft just slightly left or right, clouds in the mid-far distance all shift ever so slightly, kind of a wave like effect across the screen. and artifacts pop out along most of it. ( f-16 on caucuses takeoff instant action) As soon as the plane movement stops everything goes back to normal. Didn’t notice it until I was specifically looking at the clouds, now I can’t un-see it 😂

The one thing that blows my mind is that, for as long as the new clouds have been out, they still haven't fixed the fact that they still jump around! I always thought that it was my track IR but it still does it with track IR disabled and just the movement of the aircraft! I was hoping that 2.8 would fix that! WHOMP!!!!!

I post this video wherever i can so they will know what were talking about, but i think they know about it, just like they know about heatblur affecting hud but they can't fix it since 2003 so its like almost 20 years of graphical bug that cant be fixed. 😄 so we need probably another 30 years to fix dancing clouds. That's not funny that's scary actually...

...this effect is also annoying, but has nothing to do with the pixelation I mean.
I don't have only the phenomenon you mentioned, that seems to occur only when there is movement.
The pixelation I mentioned is also clearly visible in still images, but of course changes constantly in motion.

I link here a youtube video, where you can also see the pixelated clouds (although the video does not mention it at all).
...at 0:31 - 0:38, 1:08 - 1:14, 2:14 - 2:41.
(if not allowed, I remove it again)

Look at the horizon in the video and the screenshots.

Im also having problems with clouds looking complete shiet during flight. The first two and pretty self explanatory but the last one was very noticible when flying and looking around. Shimmering along the edges when flying in level with the clouds. It also looked very pixelated from time to time which I think is still noticible in the last picture.

Concur. The higher you go in relation to the clouds altitude, the worse it gets.

Close to them, the clouds seems ok. High up, they start breaking into horizontal lines.

You you have any roll on your POV, same it happens with distant clouds in the horizon.

Sorry for the necro, but i've had this problem for a long time now, and it seems that at times it may be related to older content, such as, missions i have created and set weather to a couple of years ago, are more likely to have jagged/filled with artifacts clouds in the distance. Didn't investigate more.
