This issue is related/similar to this issue which was reported earlier.

The radar does not drop Air to Air target tracks correctly when switching the radar modes in a specific manner. When switching the radar from any air to air mode to a ground mapping mode, and then switching the radar to silent, the Air to Air track is not dropped within the normal 8 seconds when you drop a track normally. This issue is related to the FCR power issue mentioned earlier and accomplishes the same effect.

Using this flaw in the track dropping logic you can provide AIM-120s with midcourse guidance without having to actually support the missile normally until active. You can turn cold completely and your missile will receive perfect midcourse corrections for its flight.

You can perform this in the following manner:

1. Bug/track a target in any air to air mode(MSL or A-A)
2. Switch to any master mode with GM mode pre-selected on the radar(This can be either NAV or A-G with munitions on board allowing you to set the default radar mode in A-G to GM)
3. Turn the RF/emissions switch to silent

Included is also a control group track, showing what the expected behaviour would be if you do not support the missile/do not use the aforementioned procedure. As expected, the missile does not hit the target in the control track, as the target makes a turn that the missile will not follow unless midcourse guidance is provided.
