JAPman Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 As a suggestion, since we cannot physically feel the lateral Gs of a sideslip, I would like to see a magnified view of the sideslip ball as shown in the image to compensate visually by means of an indicator. randomTOTEN Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 I can think of 4 different sources for aircraft coordination information in the current simulation control interface. Do we really need a fifth?
JAPman Posted November 6, 2022 Author Posted November 6, 2022 Just use the data that the VC slip ball display is getting and display it on the controls indicator. It is difficult to make beautiful coordination turns. JAPman Posted November 6, 2022 Author Posted November 6, 2022 (edited) I was taught that way by a joking instructor in FSX C172 training. The little ball of VC can't look away from the front, and to get lateral G's with sims, I need a hydraulic seat, but I'm poor. I say this just to make a suggestion, since it doesn't seem that difficult to implement. admiki Posted November 6, 2022 Posted November 6, 2022 In the photo you posted, I can see ball just fine. What exactly make it difficult to look at instrument panel and see what that ball is doing?

This is what I do. Just fly around with gun or rocket mode. Those modes display the slip ball on the ASP-17 sight. Then you have a head up display of your slip and can coordinate while looking out front. Turns out Mil was thinking ahead Edited November 6, 2022 by AeriaGloria 1 Black Shark Den Squadron Member: We are open to new recruits, click here to check us out or apply to join! https://blacksharkden.com
