f14 training, instant and pre loaded missions - carrier launch

Pretty much all the F14 mission which start on carrier (HOT) are broken. The missions starts in a KNEEL which prevents taxi and you are unable to CAT Launch as;

• Manual Cat connection  " U " will not work at all. 
• Request Launch function doesn't work and the crew just stand around. 

Not sure if this is only a bug for those with Supercarrier?

It is a spawn bug, not mission or carrier type related, it is on the list to be fixed. The workaround is pretty easy, simply extend, aka un-kneel after spawn.

I did "extend" and that allowed movement however the bug is more that you can't launch either via the old manual method "pressing U" or via the "Crew/request launch" option. 

I have noticed it on a few missions but definitely on in "Mission / Training day" and "Instant Mission/Training day - the LANTIRN pod"

Both missions use Forrestal carrier so you have to use the cat connection bind. You also don't have to extend the nose strut. Just hit NWS button and taxi to cat 2. Crew > request launch is only for SC when the crew is not yet ready at the cat waiting.

Just to remind you: U - cat connect (non-SC only), Lshift+U - cat launch (both SC and non-SC)
