Hajime Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Hey I noticed a strange behaviour. If I place a normal FARP and Save the .miz the FARP changes to the new "mini farp pad". I noticed that the normal FARP and the new Pad are named the same (see picture). I already repaired my DCS to preclude errors in my installation
Flappie Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 (edited) I cannot reproduce your issue. Please attach your dcs.log file (from Saved Games/DCS.../Logs) and a MIZ file causing the issue. Edited November 17, 2022 by Flappie ---
Hajime Posted November 19, 2022 Author Posted November 19, 2022 I added you the .miz and my log Test_Bug.miz dcs.log

Flappie Posted November 23, 2022 Posted November 23, 2022 Sorry @Hajime, I thought I had answered you before. I tried your MIZ file but I couldn't not reproduce your issue: I'm pretty sure your issue is caused by a custom file. Some of your mods seem to be half-deactivated. Try this: Rename your "Saved Games/DCS" folder to "DCS.backup" (do NOT delete it). Run DCS, open the mission editor and see if the issue remains. ---

Sorry, for answering slowly myself. I have tried it, but the result is the same.
Flappie Posted November 27, 2022 Posted November 27, 2022 (edited) OK, then I think you should try a DCS repair. Choose the "slow" method. EDIT: Oh, wait you said you already tried that... Please attach your dcs.log. I want to make sure you have no mods left. Edited November 27, 2022 by Flappie ---
Solution Hajime Posted November 30, 2022 Author Solution Posted November 30, 2022 It seems to be a problem with the German translation. When I change to the English version the problem does not occur. The "FARP" and the "PAD Single" are not named the same, as in the German Version. When I change back to German the problem is also back. So there should be the reason. 1 1
