Sling load cargo seems to cause massive FPS drop

Was practicing sling loads tonight and was doing alright until I went to drop the cargo off. I flew from Andersen AFB to the Orote Point airfield. THe takeoff and flight went well, as did the approach. The moment the sling load touched down I had a massive FPS drop into the single digits, and it did not recover to normal like a transient lag spike would. I had to quit the mission as it would not recover back to normal performance.

Issue reproduced thanks to your track. Apparently, it happened because you broke the cargo. I'll make a shorter track for devs to investigate (your helo starts takes off 25minutes after mission start !).

When I take the cargo close to the delivery point and then crash it where you crashed it, no FPS drop...

I'll try the full trip now.

I cannot reproduce the lag even in the long run. Did you push any button while landing the cargo?

I believe I hit Cargo Release so I could drop the cable an go try again.

As far as breaking the cargo, I'm new to sling loading. I'm sure that won't be the last one I destroy with a hard landing.

Maybe there was a timing conflict between events "cargo released" and "cargo broken". I'll try harder to reproduce this in a short track.
