Changing SSD: Reinstall needed ???

Hello.

 

I got a new SSD and i want to install DCS and MSFS on it.

Can I copy and paste the DCS installation from my ex SSD to the new SSD or i'll need to unistall and reinstall ?

Copy/paste is OK, no need to install reinstall. If the drive letters or install path change, then you will need to update your windows shortcut.

If you use the Steam DCS then move the game using the Steam Settings ... remember to create a Steam Library on the new drive first.

Good idea to update the DCS registry entries as well if the path to DCS changes. Some apps look at these, although ironically DCS itself doesn't seem to use these. They are created when you use the default installer.
