I noticed on some occasions, having landed, rearmed, refueled and trying to takeoff again, i won´t get any power out of the Anton.

Throttle - moves fine but ata sticks at 10 and rpm won´t climb above 15. Engine also spitting like a lama on drugs.

Checking:

circuit breakers - all set (on)

Fuel - fine. tanks full, pumps working.

oil - fine. pressure ok+stable, temp @around +- 50/60°)

electrics - fine. ground power disconnected.

rpm selector - back on auto

cooling flaps - open

Ordered Ground Crew to repair - finished - same result.

So i wondered what am i missing ? It´s bee a while since i last really worked on the Anton and i just got some 2 or 3 hours in again. Anything i might have overlooked ?

When in doubt - climb. Nobody ever collided with air.

Make sure that gen is on if you miss this braker battery will deplete and engine will not work fine, similar thing happens to K-4 maybe in Anton too.+

After landing and before taking off, what RPM did you leave your engine at? Maybe, just maybe, if you had left it at around 1100RPM or whatever the number is that needs to be avoided, maybe damaged the engine?

Generator: Checked, ON🙂

Yes i´m avoiding rpms between 700 - 1100, you can easily tell from the vibrations the Anton won´t like those very much.

If you keep the engine running at idle during the whole process, plug fouling would be my guess.

If only DCS would actually simulate that kind of stuff i´d be stunned...

It does, but not sure if it does for Anton, i know for sure that K-4 is susceptible if you cruise at low power for long time.

I experienced it in P-47 too, it sometimes happen during engine warm up from low temp, like -10C.

I´d certainly agree if i would be standing a long time with low rpm. But the refueling takes literally seconds, not minutes. No plug should fail in such a short time.

After landing and taxi, i´m sitting there for around a minute until i got refueled. During taxi all is still fine, issues start right after refueling when i try to taxi to the runway again.

I´ll try to remember to record a track...
