skypickle Posted December 3, 2022 Posted December 3, 2022 Attached is a picture showing the HUD as well as the F10 map. The HUD shows 120 feet F10 shows 700 Is this a known bug or am I reading it wrong? 4930K @ 4.5, 32g ram, TitanPascal
ED Team Raptor9 Posted December 3, 2022 ED Team Posted December 3, 2022 The F10 shows altitude above sea level, the HDU symbology is showing radar altitude. I'm assuming you are flying over a lake that is inland, and therefore is actually above sea level. 1 Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man. skypickle Posted December 7, 2022 Author Posted December 7, 2022 That is on the South Atlantic Map That is Lago Argentino and its altitude is reported as 614 feet so that makes sense. Thank you. 4930K @ 4.5, 32g ram, TitanPascal
kgillers3 Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 If you want msl altitude go to the flight page or switch to cruise symbology. It will more closely align with what you’re seeing on the f10 map.
