gdotts Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 I have a Thrustmaster Warthog combo... Per each DCS aircraft and helicopter module, do you have to upload specific profiles for that bird? Where is a good place to store them in, C drive or external hard drive?
Eugel Posted December 6, 2022 Posted December 6, 2022 Whenever you set up controls for an aircraft module in DCS, it will create a config file for that aircraft (by default that is stored in your C:\user\XXX\saved games\DCS\config\input folder) However, it is a good idea to store a backup of that file somewhere safe. So for example, if you setup controls for your F-16 a file is stored there for your F-16 controls with all the buttons and axis you assigned. Whenever you hop in the F-16, DCS will automatically load that config file. You don´t have to upload anything. You probably could setup something within the Thrustmaster TARGET software as well, but I´ve never really liked that software and found it easier to setup everything directly within the DCS control menu. 1
Castor Troy Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 Does the TM Warthog come preprogrammed for the A10 II in DCS? If not, I'm sure there are profiles to d/l? I'm thinking of picking one up myself.
Eugel Posted December 7, 2022 Posted December 7, 2022 Yes. You don´t need to download any profiles or map any buttons or axis of the A-10 for the TM Warthog. Everything is mapped by default. You just have to plug it in and all buttons work as they should.
