With new OB getting the hold modes in cruise flight works as before.

In Hover I had to press FTR and get in a trimmed state then hover hold and altitude hold can be engaged…..curious if this was changed or it is just me thinking it changed. I trimmed anyway before engaging the hold modes in hover before, but now I felt it‘s necessary to engage them.

I noticed the SAS beeping sound events have changed with activating/ deactivating the hold modes as well.

Altitude hold disengages on it‘s own when stable parameters get lost?

Edit:

Altitude hold disengage parameters are described in DCS AH64D manual. Actual OB looks good for me n this aspect.

Yes the alt hold mode is very sensitive kicks off if vertical speed changes a little, and I never use FTR before I use stick without springs and don't trim ....oh well thanks for the help

Edit , hitting FTR first then att hold works great , actually holds heading well now .... Thanks !

I'm having issues just activating it at all. Do you have to FTR first? But even that doesn't always work either. Both ALT hold and ATT hold do this but its vary hit or miss if it engages or not. It made me wonder if I needed to do something else now to activate the hold modes?

If it's easier for you, activate controls indicator. You need to marry white diamond and red cross symbols to be able to activate ATT HOLD. ALT hold doesn't need this, but it won't activate if your vertical speed is more than +/- 100 ft/min.

Now, all this being said: THIS IS A BUG. I mean attitude hold activation logic. Altitude hold is correct.

I'll give it a try later today, Thanks
