Hallo

Thank you very much for a Thunderbolt. It's great place to be. I love her to fly and dogfight. From first minute to the last. I watched every available movie regarding P-47. Most questions I have were born under impression of what I saw in there:
Here are some questions. 

Film one:

1. movie time 17:24. "Turbine overspeed light" - works different then the one in DCS. it has three positions: -off-blinking-on
2.movie time 19:46 "Cowl flaps control" - works inspite engine being turned off. There is possibility , that pilot operates hydraulic manual lever. In that case response in film is much faster than in DCS.

1. movie time 21:00 - "Cowl flaps control" time response of Cowl flaps
2. movie time 21:22 - rudder effectiveness: while taxiing rudder allows to steer the plane even by extreme low speeds without using a brakes, without reeving an engine.

It is because the turbo signalization has been changed with the D-25 model and later. Film one shows and is about older model than the D-25.

Re. cowl flaps speed, it was reported a couple of times, but ED seems to be OK with their speed as it is for now, so it's not going to change:

It's not a big problem anyway. I'd rather have more prominent issues fixed first, like: controls loss by compressibility never implemented (recovery flaps not needed), incorrect (too low) engine max RPM, oil dilution not working, pitot heat not working, fuselage texturing on D-30 early model broken since June. These are a few off top of my head.
