DanKurt Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Im thinking of DL the English ver but can it be transfered to a Disk? If so what software would be best to do this?
luckybob9 Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 Since their just data files, I'm guessing you can just burn the directly onto a dvd with not special steps required. Any kind of dvd burning program should work. Nevada map contributer EDM Modeling tools FAQ: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1418067&postcount=1 Seo libh a chairde is chanadh liom. ACUTech Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 You can even make an autorun file by creating a new text document with notepad and pasting these 2 lines in it: [autorun] open=setup.exe Further more, you can even have the disk displaying an icon of your choice in "My Computer" by adding this 3rd line to the autorun file: icon=BS-1.ico You guessed it, my icon is one of the 3 you'll find in the "...\Ka-50\FUI" folder... Then simply rename the .txt file to "AUTORUN.INF" and burn it on the dvd along with the other files. If you added the icon line, you need to burn the icon on the DVD as well. This way you'll have the installation starting automatically when inserting the DVD in the drive, just like a "retail" disk... Burn with Nero, Roxio or any other burning software... ACUTech Posted January 19, 2009 Posted January 19, 2009 Works well for me, been doing this for ages... You might have hidden file extensions, so your "autorun.inf" file could actually be named "autorun.inf.txt"... Open any folder and go up top to "Tools" -> "Folder Options...". Now go to the "View" tab and make sure the "Hide extensions for known file types" box is unticked. If it is ticked, untick it and you will be able to remove the .txt extension at the end of your autorun.inf file. Cheers, =ACU=Tech TECH Systemes Computer 1 Computer 2 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
