current state of campaigns in DCS?

Hey all,

quick question about what is working and what isn't right now. I started back in on  Fear the Bones but after several tries on msn7 I can't get the AIM-54s to do much of anything (even high and fast and giving them lots of distance). So I will shelve this campaign again and come back to it later.

Thinking about jumping back into the Thunderbolt or the Spit. Are there any current DCS bugs which break these great campaigns too badly? I hate relearning an aircraft and getting into a campaign only to find some crappy DCS bug or idiotic AI behaviour which ruins the otherwise amazing atmosphere.

Has anyone been playing a particular one recently and had a frustration free time of it? I've been away from DCS for quite a while and since the family is away for the holidays, wanted to get back into these wonderful campaigns.

Nothing game breaking that I know of - the AI will of course fly erratically, but that's not a temporary issue, just the nature of it.
