Within 18km of a programmed INU update point the EKRAN will alert/remind you. Updating the INU is used in either the overfly or Shkval methods outlined in the pilot's flight manual pages 6-23 and 6-24.

Currently the INU accumulates no errors and you will not see any practical benefit from correction.

I ususally use the Shkval to performe a nav fix pos, to do that you have to lock a fix point with your shkval, like a bridge or simililar, your laser must be on standby and ranging the target. when the Shkval is set you choose your fix point in your PVI 800 panel, press OP and then the number of the fix point, when the Shkval and the PVI 800 is set, hit your uncage button and you should get a "KOPP" message on the HUD, when the message disapears the correction is complete. The ekran message should disapear now (for a while anyway). I've never used the "fly over" method, but it seems rather straight forward. You can read more in the flight manual, section 6-26

Really? Error accumulation isn't modelled whatsoever? Seems odd they would cover it in such detail in the producer's notes without mentioning that...

It's not in... yet. That's modern game publishing for you. Sell you the car and then ship the rear view mirror, headrest, etc in a few months time.

To be fair, the car has the mirror's and headrests installed, it's the gps autopilot and convert to submarine feature that are lacking :)
