punkUser Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 (edited) Hey guys have been enjoying the JF-17 module for a while now but finally decided to try out the included "Thunder Strike" campaign. First mission went smoothly but in the second mission I appear to spawn with a truck directly in front of me... none of my attempts to radio ATC or ground crew or anything seems to make it move out of the way. You can't quite taxi around it as your wing always gets stuck no matter which direction you go. Eventually you just get killed by mission scripting as it tells you to "hurry" and get off the ground while you are being bombarded. Is this possibly a bug? Am I missing some sort of trigger here? I've reread the mission briefing but it doesn't seem to mention anything here. Edited April 18, 2023 by uboats
Iron Sights Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 A hard right doesn’t work there? Use the right brake and turn
BigBorner Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 I can remember that mission. The truck should drive out of the way after a few minutes. Give it some time. If this does not help, it’s bugged.
punkUser Posted January 9, 2023 Author Posted January 9, 2023 (edited) Couldn't make the right turn fit, despite trying several times. You clip the wing/missile unfortunately. If you are able to make it work let me know though and I'll try to follow your precise instructions! Waiting also doesn't work... you eventually just die to mission scripting/bombardment after receiving several "hurry, hurry" messages. Edited January 9, 2023 by punkUser
BigBorner Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Yeah seems to be bugged than, sorry. And, tbh, you’re not missing THAT much
punkUser Posted January 9, 2023 Author Posted January 9, 2023 Fair enough, I'll just skip the mission. Just wanted to double check I wasn't missing something I was supposed to be doing (radio contact or some other startup trigger or something) first. Thanks for the help!
ir_jumper Posted April 18, 2023 Posted April 18, 2023 Seems to be fixed. At least the truck is driving away as intended when I flew it yesterday. 1
