Lancelot2022 Posted January 12, 2023 Posted January 12, 2023 When the F15E is released, I want to be able to fly with a second player on a second PC in my house. Other than downloading a second installation of DCS, and purchasing F15E twice, what steps do I need to take for us to connect by private IP address while using the same IP address? There must be some of you that have multiple setups. Thanks in advance.
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted January 12, 2023 ED Team Posted January 12, 2023 you will see the server in your MP browser, and you should be able to use either the internal IP of the server or the external IP to connect to the server, or just double click it in the list. Lancelot2022 Posted January 13, 2023 Author Posted January 13, 2023 Thanks for the quick reply. I’m a pretty fair F18 sim pilot, but short on Internet protocol. Are you saying I can “Connect by IP” even though it’s the same IP address as the player hosting the mission?
HC_Official Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 (edited) each PC inside your own network has its own "LAN side" (local) IP address and then you have an external IP address for you router that connects you to the internet Edited January 13, 2023 by HC_Official No more pre-orders Click here for tutorials for using Virpil Hardware and Software Click here for Virpil Flight equipment dimensions and pictures. .
