lwalter Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 Normally, I launch DCS from Steam and check the VR with Oculus option and it works fine. I noticed that I never ever checked the "Enable Virtual Reality Headset" setting DCS. Am I missing something? Looks like everything is working fine though, including the pointing to buttons and switches with the Quest 2 controllers. iMac Retina 5K, 27-inch, i7 4 GHz, 32 GB RAM, AMD R9 M395X 4 GB | Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog | Cougar MFD | MFG Crosswind | EDTracker Pro | Realteus ForceFeel DCS World | Bf109 | Fw190 A8/D9 | P47 | P51 | Spitfire | I16 | C101 | L39 | F86F | MiG15 | MiG19 | MiG21 | FC3 | A10C | AJS37 | AV8BNA | F5 | F14 | F16 | F/A18 | M2000 | JF17 | Christen Eagle | Yak52 | SA342 | UH1H | Mi8 | Ka50 | Combined Arms | NS430 | Persian Gulf | Normandy | Channel | Syria | NTTR | WWII Assets
Wolf8312 Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 It just means the next time you load DCS it will run in VR mode. Unfortunately we still don't have an enable VR button that could allow us to switch in and out of VR only when we are good and ready to fly! 1 ------------ 3080Ti, i5- 13600k 32GB VIVE index, VKB peddals, HOTAS VPC MONGOOSE, WARTHOG throttle, BKicker,
Baldrick33 Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 I believe checking the VR option when launching from Steam is exactly the same thing as checking the enable VR headset in DCS. It just launches DCS in VR mode. 1 AMD 5800X3D · MSI 4080 · Asus ROG Strix B550 Gaming · HP Reverb Pro · 1Tb M.2 NVMe, 32Gb Corsair Vengence 3600MHz DDR4 · Windows 11 · Thrustmaster TPR Pedals · VIRPIL T-50CM3 Base, Alpha Prime R.
