investigating Mission 15 : JTAC Laser seems to be inefective

Hi,

A very wonderful and addictive Campaig, but at this point I am completly stucked at MISSION 15 because none GBU is guided by JTAC laser. They fall down on an unique point (always exactly the same ! JTac seems to point to a pile of sand ).

Although each bomb seems to be dragged on the beginning of its course to the target.

As my AI wingman is a total jerk, it's impossible to go further this mission and then end the campaign.

I have compared my way to do with laser guided bombs on Youtube video, cannot see any differences (managing bombs and JTac).

Am I alone to have this problem with the regular 2.8 version ? A new DCS bug ? or it's me ? (and as DCS has crashed for the last run of this mission, I cannot have video or Tacview) !

Thanks, I will check it. Though since this is a DCS native JTAC, it means that I don't have any control over what he does and looks to me as a DCS bug...

Hello (and apologize for my appoximate english cause i’m french (). Thanks for your reply.

Another attempt yesterday :

First I have made an ins update for waypoint three before the first run.

First bomb hit the first target.

But all other attempts were ineffective with or without ins update (bombs always fall at the same point)

So finally I success hitting the 2 other shilkas with gun.

The problem then is that when the second gazelle was shot down, after the confirmation message that it’s done, I have a crash and return to desktop !

It’s the second time that happens

Last attempt, the good one : always the precision problem on ins bombing (three bombs exactly at the same postion but always not on targets), but it's ok with guns.

I announce myself winchester when Godfather ask me to engage the 2 gazelles. So they were shot down by Reaper after that.

Then I am ordered to RTB and finish the mission with all 100 points !

At this time I will be able to finish the campaign and switch to last mission 16 ! That's something at least !

In any case, this campaign is very well done, a huge work I guess, thanks for it !

Attempt of the day  : it seems that when your run is not as required from north to south but for example from west to east, Laser beam works well for GBUs...

The problem persists and the function to activate the laser is not available in communications with the JTAC.

Hey - the stock JTAC is on the ED side of things, I have no control over what he does and how he works. I'll see what I can do, but I don't think I'll be able to fix this on my end.
