Hi,

how does it come, that sometimes the GroundSpeed in the HUD vanishes in

"NAV"-mode ?

So i only have the Max.Airspeed-Bar.

I cannot reproduce, what i've done before, but sometimes it comes back after a while...

Well, as far as I´ve been able to find that out, the ground speed measurement is somehow linked to the shkval. If you fly with low throttle, ground speed is not measureable and the shkval blacks out....

So, if you lose sight contact to the ground (of e.g. to the topside of a cloud layer) you don´t get your ground speed measured.

Press targeting mode reset when your'e done attacking and the HUD should return to normal NAV including the speed. Works for me.

Right if I remember correctly it's down to the INU not being aligned properly (yet). Basically if you turn down your engine RPM from automatic the INU looses power (I think) and thus when you push it back up it needs to power up and re-align. This is the same for take off, it will take a few minutes to align before you get an acurate speed read out. If however you get over 50 kph the old fashioned air flow speedo kicks in and you start getting a readout, only above 50 though I think, as soon as you drop below (before the INU aligns) you don't have a speed read out.

Regards
