ianick Posted February 26, 2023 Posted February 26, 2023 Hi Since i change my cg and done a proper install of the last drivers, my two mfcds are horribly flickering. Both at the same frequency. I tried a lot +/- vsync, +/- gsync, gsync windowed not windowed etc please advise BR IMG_2267.MOV
MadKreator Posted February 26, 2023 Posted February 26, 2023 Do you have v-sync “fast mode” turned on in nvidia settings? That will cause flickering with exported displays. I use vsync in game and viewports don’t flicker but if you have fast enabled in nvidia settings, they definitely will. Thats the only thing I’ve come across that does it. ianick Posted February 26, 2023 Author Posted February 26, 2023 yes i tried but with no luck, ty It s associated with little clicks sometimes. i suspect an audio driver pb, i tried to install last realtek audio drivers but i get worse so i uninstalled it with windows audio driver utilisation for now.

Interesting, I’ve only experienced it with vsync fast. Hope you get it figured out, i know how annoying it is lol Intel i7 13700k, ASUS rog strix z790A, 64gigs G.Skill Trident DDR5 @6400Mhz, Nvidia RTX 4080FE, 4TB, 2x 2TB, 1TB Samsung NVME, 1TB Samsung SSD, Corsair RM1000x, Corsair Titan 360 X AIO cooler, Lian Li LanCool 2, VKB Gunfighter Ultimate, VKB Custom STECS , MFG Crosswinds, Moza FFB, Virpil Collective, Track IR5, 48” LG UltraGear OLED & HP 24” touchscreen for Helios,49” Samsung Ultrawide, Streamdeck XL, Corsair Virtuoso RGB Headphones

Does your monitor have response rate settings by chance? My monitor id g-sync compatible, I had no issues with g-sync on or off , but mine does have a response setting. I’ve tried on other games and get weird things happening visually, in- game if its set to the fastest setting, so I keep it on normal. But the audible click is odd for sure. I have no ideas on that. In fact, changing my 3080 to 4080 made that thing to appear so.. my tv is gsync indeed but what do you mean by response setting, is it low latency thingy like?

Yes exactly.. My monitor is 49” ultrawide samsung.. just a setting that did odd things on mine.. I just went from a 3080 to a 4080 as well a couple months ago.. had no adverse effects, very weird. The only thing i noticed was right after I installed it, the logo on the side of the card was flashing slowly, which indicates the card isn’t getting enough power.. Turns out I really had to push the power plug in hard on the side of the gpu (founders edition) to get it fully set.. I’ll dig through the helios discord, I know recently I saw someone having the same issue ( even if you’re not using helios is still exports type same way) and it wasn’t a v-sync problem.. I’ll respond back if I find anything else out. Gierasimov Posted June 20, 2023 Posted June 20, 2023 @ianick hey can you confirm if it is flickering for you in single threaded version in latest beta? For me it is only the multithreading version where I observe this issue.
