Super Libra Joystick Base- Damaged 6wire connection

Over the last several weeks my super libra base has been having connection issues, with stick full forward it would disconnect. then Saturday, it stopped recognizing that it had a grip attached. after some digging i found the 6wire loom/cable was being pinched. Now I also own the Orion base, does anyone know if these two cables are interchangeable between the two?

I had the same cable break in the same spot on my Orion2. Start a ticket with WW support and show them the photos, they should replace it. 
 

if you have a multimeter you should be able to confirm that the cables are the same between the libra and the Orion. 
 

IIRC only 2 of the 6 are actually connected to the circular socket.
