Logitech Warthog developed twist

I have a warthog stick and it seems to have developed a slight twist. The stick itself is on tight and it seems to be coming from the gimbal ball. Does anyone know the cause of this and any possible fix.

I'm guessing a tear down will be in order

Quite likely. There should be no twist, unless someone used a bit too much sanding paper on gimbal axis pegs during regreasing - ask me how I know ;). Maybe one of the pegs broke off in your unit. You won't know until you look inside.

Worn gimbal.  Mine did the same.  If it sat in the twisted position, it would output some roll.  Eventually I replaced it with a WarBRD base, an expensive decision I do not regret in the slightest.
