Turn off tac view recording in DCS options (if you have fps problems on big servers and have tac view)

Probably most of you know this already, but if you turn off tac view recording(if you have tacview) you will get significate fps boost, on Enigma I got from 20fps to 70fps.

This is (or was) true but for me one of the biggest wins with MT was that I could now run tacview with zero observable impact on a server like TTI. Before it use to cost about 10fps now it looks like less than 1

this is true. in the dcs.log there are lines that call out what the difference would be in FPS with TACVIEW enabled vs disabled.

Definitely. Also number of objects. Graphics settings. Etc. It all adds up. I discovered on an older computer that any disk access will affect performance. My example is I had my screen saver as photos. That caused troubles. In the case of TACVIEW, it is writing the track to disk.
