pierrotigrou Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 Hie every one, first of all thank's for this great campaign which is above the best!!! But there is a but, i had systematically an engine failure at the same time during the flight 16h11, even the configuration i had with the airplane and even the caring i had with the engine. It's been 4 times i restart the mission with this engine failure and it's start to be little bit boring... I think there is the failure generator switching ON but is there any solution to overpass it? Thank's again for the answer!!! fly low fly safe
razo+r Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 What means "caring I had with the engine"? What temps, RPM and MP?
pierrotigrou Posted April 1, 2023 Author Posted April 1, 2023 Mean thah i apply engine pressure manifold no more than 42inch during climbing, between 30 to 40 during cruising at FL210, good using of the compressor, good engine parameters (engine oil pressure etc).... The first time i thought i apply too many pressure on engine manifold but the other 3times i was very careful and i had the failure again and again at exact same hour...
pierrotigrou Posted April 4, 2023 Author Posted April 4, 2023 (edited) So no more explications or beginning of? No one had the same issue than me? Edited April 4, 2023 by pierrotigrou
Reflected Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 I can easily climb at 52" and 2850 RPM, no idea why yours is dying. Make sure your temps are in the green, operate your oil cooler and intercooler accordingly. Also, make sure you warm it up properly before takeoff. Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord
razo+r Posted April 4, 2023 Posted April 4, 2023 Its better if you attach a track. Open the mission editor, place down a P-47 with the exact same parameter like in the campaign (cold/hot start, ambient temp, loadout) and climb. Once engine quits, go to the debriefing screen, save replay and attach it here.
pierrotigrou Posted April 5, 2023 Author Posted April 5, 2023 Copy that i will test all of this and check if the engine survive. Thank's for your answer
