In cockpit gunner mode, ask Petrovich to align helicopter on target for bombing

In the cockpit gunner mode.., how can I ask Petkovic to line up correctly on a target so I can drop bombs? I added a warehouse as a target and using the petrovich ai helper pressing long right or long left in flight mode to adjust heading, it doesn't get aligned very well. Does anyone have any tips? It would be great if ED implemented this mode in the petrovich ai panel! Maybe scanning the targets ahead and selecting a target like he does in the cockpit pilot.

Switch to CMBT mode, use guided missiles sight and press short up to line up.

In addition, if you have Petrovich menu up in CPG seat, you can use short right to select crosshairs, point where you want Petro to point noise, then short right again to make Petro fly there. Can be a lot easier and more precise than fooling with long left/right to change heading.
