Thallios Posted April 30, 2023 Posted April 30, 2023 I accidentily switched in A-A to my 2nd sidewinder via China Hat Aft. After firing the 2nd sidewinder (number refering to mounting position on the rack, not firing sequence), the 1st sidewinder wouldn't come online. Or otherwise stated the seeker of the 1st sidewinder ist not present. If you fire in the correct order (1st sidewinder first, then 2nd sidewinder), the seeker for the 2nd sidewinder appears as intended after firing the first one.
Yurgon Posted April 30, 2023 Posted April 30, 2023 Seeing the same with both the A-10C and the A-10C II. I've filed a bug report in the Closed Beta Tester part of the forum. Now all we can do is wait for it to be fixed, but I wouldn't expect this to be addressed with high priority - once you know about the issue, it's easy enough to avoid. (And in 10 or so years of flying the A-10C, I can't say I ever noticed this behavior; maybe it's been there all along, maybe it's relatively recent bug, I don't know).
Thallios Posted April 30, 2023 Author Posted April 30, 2023 Thanks Yes I'm not sure how long this bug already exists. But I think it's in there for quite a while. I remember the sidewinder in the A-10C was always not working properly (at least when I handled it). Just figured out in the A-10CII that it has to do with the sequence.
