The problem seems to be between WMRP and my G2. When I set MWRP to 60HZ everything seems to be working fine so far, but I haven't tested everything at this setting yet. My goal right now is to get a basic display at 90HZ.

If I set WMRP to 90HZ the mirror on my monitor looks like it is running at 90HZ but it seems to be stuck on the screen that tells me to put on my headset. My G2 is a black screen though. When I move my headset around the desk, the display in the mirror moves around according the the way I am moving the headset. I have tried all 3 display ports on the 4090. I have also un-installed and reinstalled WMRP. I've move the USB between ports, but I don't believe that really has anything to do with this problem.

I can't think of anything else to drive to get the G2 display at 90HZ. Anybody else have anything that I can try?

You can try removing Windows Mixed Reality and re-installing it.

Sometimes happens to me, when this happens, I unplug the power cable attached to the box going to the headset, wait till wmr portal says plug the device, and plug the cable again to the power box, all works fine.... When I use the little button to swicth the hmd on/off the method does not work.

You guys can bet that I have tried all that since my AMD card failed to start at 90HZ on almost every first of the morning start. After doing some or all of the things you suggest I would eventually get it to start at 90HZ. My problem with the 4090 is that when I switch to 90HZ the headset goes dark. It's still being recognized because I have all the sounds of the game ported to the headset, just none of the display.

This problem has happened on 2 systems now and I would like to hear from others that use WMRP and the 4090 with a G2. The 4090 and G2 are the only common items between the to systems. If enough people tell me that they can get their G2 running at 90HZ with a 4090 I'm going to have to look hard at the G2 as the root of the problem.

Figured it out. It's the new and improved version 2 of the cable that HP said we should use.

I put the old original cable in play and haven't had a 13-14 error yet.

Case closed.
