Many of these still work but some don't (Japan Mod has not been updated and does not work currently in Beta) mod (fc2.com) If you go to the link make sure you use translate offered by your browser. One of the WWII Japanese Planes you need to use the version before the current one to get it to work on Beta, the new version will not show up. I can't remember which one (I think its the Raiden), the Reisen 52 is carrier take off capable. The JGSDF mods work.
Gunfreak Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 I agree the ww2 asset pack is missing a lot of stuff. Japanese ground assets will come with the Corsair from Mag3, exactly what we don't know. We have Normandy and don't have the overlord fleet and with the Marianas we need the proper fleets for the battle of the Philippines sea I'd also toss in the 1980s Iowas for DCS core Red Army definitely. There's more European stuff available than Japanese, not much but it's out there. My understanding when purchasing WWII Assests and Combined Arms was that they were, like terrains, incomplete and were to be continuously updated. There's been some work, at least uboats will dive and shoot torpedoes now.

I am not sure which should be given a higher priority. We have a World War II Marianas map but only the f4u has been confirmed. However Red Army assets would help fill in the Korean War too. We have the MiG-15, F-86, F-51, F4U and a bunch of blue force assets but nothing for Red really. Edited May 5, 2023 by upyr1
