PSVR2 to PC work continues

For those that are interested,

Work continues to make the PSVR2 work with PC.  To quote:"you either need to have a VirtualLink GPU, or a VirtualLink adapter" 

"The only adapter currently for sale that is known to work is the BizLink VirtualLink adapter. Remains to be seen whether AMD VL cards can be used in "VR" mode, but nVidia VL cards almost certainly can"

PSVR2 uses Tobii IR cameras for gaze tracking

I am interested myself.  Of course none of this would be necessary if they would just unlock it for PC, yes, I know the HMD is supposed to help them sell games.

It already works with my Varjo Aero link box, of course in extended monitor mode only but I’m pretty sure VR support is coming from PSVR modders now that the auth has been cracked.  The color and contrast on this headset is phenomenal, although OLED mura can be rough on the eyes under certain conditions.

My only question would be - why would an Aero owner want to use a Play Station 2 VR headset for PC gaming?

From what I have read, it looks like the team is hitting some roadblocks.  I hope that they can overcome these.

I dont want to give anyone the impression that this will all get solved next week.  It sounds like it could take some time.

I wish them luck.
