Stable ST constant crashing in MT

Hi everyone,

I have had constant crashing in MT since the first OB hot fix. The first iteration of MT worked flawlessly, but since the first hotfix, I have been getting the same CTD with DX11Backend error. I have been working through each .log with no success.

I have take the following steps to address with no luck:

Rolled back AMD GPU Drivers

Tried with MSAA/No MSAA

Repaired DCS (Slow)

Deleted and fresh installed DCS

Increased Page File/Decreased Page File

Plus a multitude of other fixes I have read in this forum with no luck.

Specs:

GPU: AMD 5700 XLT Thicc 3

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600

RAM: 32 GB

1 TB SSD: with 200 GB of space

ST works with no issues at all. I can sit in ST for long MP sessions perfectly. When switching to MT I get a DXDIAG.exe CTD and sometimes GPU Driver timeout within 2-5 minutes. I have been racking my brain to find a solution with no end in sight.

It's a known issue, which seems to be associated with the 5700XT.

Glad to hear I am not the only one. I have had nothing but problems with this card over the last two years. Is it a hardware or a driver issue? Wish I could pinpoint the issue.

 

Hoping there might be some other solutions out there.

No idea if it's driver or hardware related, and neither I nor anyone else posting on here has found a solution, but it's an acknowledged bug, so hopefully someone at ED is investigating.

Still no luck on my end. Still running strong in ST, but crashing after a few moments of gameplay in MT. I have also rolled back drivers, reinstalled, reset GPU and every fix I have found on the forums. I have just completed a new PC build and hope to get away from AMD-related problems.
