Control adjustment screen lock up

I'm in the Viper, game running normally. I open the screen to adjust a control keybind and the game freezes up. I can still move cursor on the screen but the blue screen with all the controls doesn't move/react to any input, nor can I close it.

1. Access the Controls panel from the main menu
2. Click "Disable hot plug", click OK.
3. See if your problem persists.
