TBH, given the kind of stuff we're seeing from real generals today, I wouldn't be surprised if quite a few people here could run a war better than certain high level officials in certain very large countries...  

Of course, it's not like Vietnam was ran in a particularly competent way, either.

Yes, but it was only semaphore flags. With the WSO, the pilot didn't need to let go of the flight controls.
