Hi I have just gotten some Winwing panels and having trouble getting them to show in the Game controllers panel on my PC and SimAppPro.

They show up under devices in windows and also Windows Devices and Printers, all the panel lights turn on, but when I right click one and click Game Controller settings they will not show there.

I have tried removing every USB device except the keyboard and mouse and plugging them into every available USB port and its the same story, rebooting every time, I don't hear and USB dropouts on my PC either.

Do I need drivers for this as I cant find any on the Winwing Web site ??

Cheers

It's your Tartus.... I have the same problem... Try uninstalling it, unplugging it rebooting and then reinstalling

you can check to see if it is the Tartus, by simply unplugging it. The problem seems to be how Razer captures a Joystick Port, against the keyboard (at least for me) If it is the Tartus, then this was the dance that Razer taught me, to get it back working:

  1. Uninstall Synapse 3
  2. If possible, unplug all Razer devices
  3. Reboot the system
  4. Download the Razer Driver Clean Up Tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj
  5. Unzip and run the CleanupRazerDrivers.exe as Administrator
  6. The window will close on its own. When it does, reboot the system again
  7. Install Synapse 3
  8. Plugin Razer devices
  9. Update Synapse 3 as needed and reboot system as update requirement

Then download Synapse and run is admin also run Synapse as admin after installing.

Uninstalled the Razer Softwear and got them to show up, but lost some other USB button boxes along the way, reinstalled the Razer Synapse and now they only work if I unplug the razer mouse.

Installing and running in admin what will that do ??

All I can trll you is this drove me crazy for about a year of working with razer,  and the dance was what did the trick. Which is what razer told me to do.

Which means unistalling& then unpluging  everything that's razer

And then using the clean up tool

Then reinstalling as above, which doesn't say install as admin, it say run the clean up tool as admin...

The issue it's the way the Razer driver emulates a joystick.

Installing the razer software After device installation seems to be the most stable, but, to do that you have to remove the NVidia software and drivers and for that you need the cleaning tool above and the process copied here for clarity:

1. Uninstall Synapse 3
2. If possible, unplug all Razer devices
3. Reboot the system
4. Download the Razer Driver Clean Up Tool: https://rzr.to/Tf53xj
5. Unzip and run the CleanupRazerDrivers.exe as Administrator
6. The window will close on its own. When it does, reboot the system again
7. Install Synapse 3 (download the latest version)
8. Plugin Razer devices
9. Update Synapse 3 as needed and reboot system as update requirement
