cannot get George to use the LIMA

As a cpg, I can select the Lima no problem. But as a pilot, I cannot get George to use the Lima. Track attached.

 

As a pilot, the missile George selects remains the kilo. Despite my selecting the missile , setting it to manual and pushing the 'Type' button.

 As an aside, later in the track I tryto lock an MI8 with the IAT but that fails.

I haven’t watched the track yet, but when you are telling George to switch to RF missiles, are you doing it the WPN page on your MFD, or are you using the “left-long” command to tell George to do it?

I was trying to do it on my weapons page. Using left long DOES work. Just in the habit of using the MFD

Well, you can't tell CPG what to use using  your MFD. Never could.

Until we get the FCR and RFHO, pilot is stuck with only the SAL missiles and only the CPG can launch via TADS.
