Download in stages?

Hi all,

 trying to download, but not super fast (10Mb/s). My problem is that at some stage it takes too long and my computer reduces download to zero. I restarted the entire process twice now, but still haven’t been able to complete the full download. 
is therea way to chop up the download, and do things in stages?

Things to try, in that order:

1. Turn your router off and on again.
2. Add DCS main path as an exception into your antivirus/antibloatware software.
3. Enable Windows autotuning:
4. Scan your Windows for errors by running this command in a CMD window: sfc /scannow
5. Lower your router secutiry level.

Thanks. I let it run all night and got it. Actually I think the slow connection is because 1Gbps Internet in Germany is worse than smoke signals to mars.
