DCS Crashes after about 15-20 minutes since last update

I am running the latest open beta and wanted to try out the gazelle in multiplayer but after a few minutes DCS crashes to desktop. I could not replicate it with a certain behavior. Seems to be random. one of the crashed tracks is included. cant upload more than that.

I crashed at exactly the same time as Lawrence playing as his gunner. I also have the CTDs in the Gazelle after a few minutes.

Can you please both attach the crash zip file matching the time and date of your crash? It should be located in your "Saved Games/DCS.../Logs" folder.

I got two for you from yesterday with Lawrence. I'll poke him to upload his as well.

To add a bit of context, both crashes were in the Gazelle, both as I was getting close to attacking enemies but I was not attempting to fire yet. I get these crashes both with the HOT-3 and the Mistral loadouts, and it doesn't matter if I'm in the pilot or gunner seat.

Thanks. It looks very much like a Gaezlle bug, simply because both crashes come from the SA342..dll.

And the fact that you both crash at the same time in the same aircraft points to the Gazelle as well.

I can't find any other report about this crash. The most recent crash report talks about CTD when leaving the Gazelle slot then entering a different aircraft. I'm yet to try this out.

It seems you guys are the first one to report this bug. We need to know in which conditions your CTD appears in order to reproduce it, then Polychop and/or ED will be able to fix it.

 

@armsupwithlawrence  Can you tell us if you had another player in your Gazelle when DCS crashed? Which Gazelle type were you flying? Do you own a WinWing device?

@Toumal  You were flying a Gazelle L, correct? And I already know you own a WinWing device (their script have caused issues in the past, which is why I'm mentioning WinWing).

UPDATE: ED made an internal fix for a Gazelle CTD a couple of days ago. One of the log files shows the same messages. Chances are the next OB update will fix this issue of yours.
