You must use the Coolie Hat for selecting MP(C)D's. (The pilot uses the Castle hat).

So, I spent a few hours yesterday with a friend in the front seat while I tried to get the WSO seat to work. I couldn't use the radar at all. I could select it, but it wouldn't let me use it. I was able to eventually start using the TPOD, but had limited functionality. Any suggestions?

Assigned my controls to the WSO, coolie hat is recognized in control settings, but in cockpit it doesn't work.

Tried 2x coolie up (left and right grip) --> no SOI on one of the MPD's (TGP + AA/AG radar). Radar and TGP both ON

Any help much appreciated

@Gideon312 I am using my TM Joystick and HOTAS for the WSO Joystick and HOTAS and the two WSO Hand Controllers (RHC and LHC). The way I isolate each is by putting modifiers in the WSO control setups. For the WSO Joystick and HOTAS my modifier is my HOTAS joybtn_25 and for the RHC it is joybtn_10 and for the LHC it is joybtn_9. When the respective joybtns are ON then the relevant control setup works. It does mean that only one - WSO flight controls or WSO RHC or WSO LHC - can be on at any one time so I do have to remember to switch on and off each modifier button as required. Attached are screenshots of the relevant WSO control setups that I have found work OK for me.
