auto-locking targets

Hi guys,

 

i ve a little problem concerning targed-lock. especially when locking an flying target. it's a bit tricky to do it with the hms or manually with the shkval. it's like playing dart. :doh:

 

is there a way to auto lock a flying target?

Anticipate the Flight Path of your intended Target and then Lock the target as it crosses the reticule - don't go chasing after it :)

there is a way to get really close and then lock with padlock view, ect. it was discussed in depth in a post a month ago or so, im looking for it

same with me. air-combat is really hard, get shot down every time. ok, the ka50 doesnt fit for air-combat.

It is pretty easy to lock air target with HMS:

 

 

1. Uncage Shkval;
   
2. Turn Air mode on;
   
3. Turn HMS on;
   
4. Adjust Shkval bracket size;
   
5. Press auto-lock once to turn it on;
   
6. Press and hold Uncage Shkval button;
   
7. Move HMS over the target and track the target with it, until Shkval auto locks and TA symbol appears;
   
8. Release Uncage Shkval button;
   
9. Turn on laser;
   
10. Press auto lock button once again to measure distance;
    
11. Launch Vikhr or fire with cannon.

I think the answer to his question "is there a way to auto lock a flying target?" is no.
