На F/A-18 есть режим для работы в темное время суток с прицельным контейнером?
—————————————

Is there a mode on the F/A-18 to work in the dark with the sighting container?

There are two FLIR pods, and you can have the chief fit NVG's before launch.

I only see a change in the helmet device. There are no settings for the container. Please show me where to find the setting

It's in the COMMS > F8 - GROUND CREW / REARM-REFUEL menu.  You have to change it the same way you change your weapons loadout.  You can also do it in the mission editor if you're making/changing the mission yourself before you fly.

But there is only a change in the helmet-mounted device to NVG. And lightning can't see at night

You don’t install the goggle like a weapon, you follow the text prompts to have the crew install it.

and, yes, the pod will see at night. It’s literally an infrared targeting pod.

You can change out which pod you are using in the screen shown on the 2nd picture in station 4, 5 or 6 (depending which one you want).

As MarkyMark said, you need to change the pod to FLIR from CCD/TV mode.  For the Litening it's the OSB on the bottom left, for the ATFLIR it's the middle OSB on the top row.

At this point you maybe need to check out the manual and/or Chucks guide for the details on pod usage.

Thank you! At the beginning, the words about hanging the container misled me. I thought that I need to hang something else additionally. And you just had to turn on the CDD mode)

How to cold start at dark night? Don`t see anything until atleast one engine is up. Zoom in? Night goggles? Didn't try to cold start at night until yesterday.

Flashlight.  Check your bindings to see what key you need to press.  Mouse controls where it's pointing.

Thank you very much!!!!! 🙂  I honestly didn`t saw it in ED manual. Manual contains detailed start up procedures, landing but not a single word about flashlight.
