ww3231 Posted July 24, 2023 Posted July 24, 2023 (edited) Some AAA tracers look a lot different in each eye. Attached is a track replay. Notice how on the right eye, the tracers are extremely visible light bars, and on the left eye they are barely visible. I have stereo_mode_use_shared_parser set to false, both on config and autoexe.cfg HP G2 v2 MT on OpenXR test.trk Edited July 24, 2023 by ww3231 Light Fix - IFLOLS Fix - Night Sky
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted July 26, 2023 ED Team Posted July 26, 2023 Hi Ive just taken a look, I think what we are seeing is range related, as the tracer gets closer the size and brightness increases, I see the same effect in both eyes. I will check in our internal version now and there are some spotting changes in test currently that may be a factor thanks Forum rules - DCS Crashing? Having some odd dissappearing dots going on. Will need to fly more to see if it's consistently the right side of the view where it's disappearing, but it's not right at the edge. The video itself is cropped a bit, so it's happening closer to the centre of vision than it looks here:
