I had not flown the F-14B in a while as I was busy with the F-15, when I went back to the F-14 I found that the F-14A was fine, no problems, where as the F-14B  I had this error "<BAD UTF-8> and screwed up mirrors. I hit the m key for the non mirrors and no error, hit it again for mirrors and I get this.

I have uninstalled, reinstalled, long repair, no mods and no change.

Like I stated, F-14A was fine.

Thanks.

All mods were removed when I saw this. Have uninstalled F-14 3 times and reinstalled but this problem remains. Mod was installed with JSGME mod manager.

It could be a cockpit mod installed in your "Saved Games\DCS*\..."

Thanks.

All mods removed!

F-14A-135-GR mirrors are clear and F-14B mirrors are what you see in the picture. It's like the F-14B is looking at the wrong file.

Thanks All,

Found it! Loose file in my user/saved games/liveries/cockpit folder.

Here I thought I had all that out.

Again, Thanks!! :pilotfly:

Here's the fix, everyone:

In the description.lua of the cockpit mod, replace the following line:

{"mirrors", 0 ,"mirrors",true};

with the following four lines:

{"mirror_top", 0 ,"mirrors",true};
{"mirror_left", 0 ,"mirrors",true};
{"mirror_right", 0 ,"mirrors",true};
{"rio_mirror", 0 ,"mirrors",true};

Your mirrors should now work with the cockpit texture mod.
