ruddy122 Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 Something Insidious is Happening If you launch GND Weapons from Right Pylon Autopilot could handle assymetry but once the A/P disengaged be ready to Trim Doesn't happen on CFT release or Centerline Release Lucky [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] LUCKY:pilotfly::joystick: Computer Specs CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 6-Core 3.4 GHz| GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 6Gb | RAM: 32 GB DDR4 @ 3000 MHz | OS: Win 10 64 bit | HD: 500 Gb SSD
razo+r Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 (edited) Last time I dropped GBU-12s from the CFTs, I could definitly notice a slight rolling to one side. So not sure what you are on about. Best is to attach a track. Or maybe I just don't understand what you are trying to describe. Edited August 15, 2023 by razo+r
ruddy122 Posted August 15, 2023 Author Posted August 15, 2023 Launch from the Wing Pylons see what happens It didn't roll before it was noticeable The TGP is heavier by around 130lbs than the NVP Lucky [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] LUCKY:pilotfly::joystick: Computer Specs CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 6-Core 3.4 GHz| GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 6Gb | RAM: 32 GB DDR4 @ 3000 MHz | OS: Win 10 64 bit | HD: 500 Gb SSD
razo+r Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 (edited) I still don't get what you are trying to say. I dropped a Mk84 from the right wing and a left roll started as expected. Besides, the TGP and NVP are much closer to the center, so that effect of assymetry is not a really big impact, especially not with only 130lbs. Edited August 15, 2023 by razo+r
ruddy122 Posted August 15, 2023 Author Posted August 15, 2023 Sounds like it barfed I'll try again tonight [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] LUCKY:pilotfly::joystick: Computer Specs CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 6-Core 3.4 GHz| GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 6Gb | RAM: 32 GB DDR4 @ 3000 MHz | OS: Win 10 64 bit | HD: 500 Gb SSD
ruddy122 Posted August 15, 2023 Author Posted August 15, 2023 I had control problems with GBU-24 do you have that? GBU-10 OK [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] LUCKY:pilotfly::joystick: Computer Specs CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 6-Core 3.4 GHz| GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 6Gb | RAM: 32 GB DDR4 @ 3000 MHz | OS: Win 10 64 bit | HD: 500 Gb SSD
BigBorner Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 Yes, you have to trim more if you release a weapon further away from the center of the plane.

ruddy122 Posted August 16, 2023 Author Posted August 16, 2023 Only happens with GBU-24s, GBU-10s fine What happens is I launch GBU-24's from the Side Pylons and the A/P hacks it but once the A/P is off it rolls right Strange other munitions don't do that [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] LUCKY:pilotfly::joystick: Computer Specs CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 6-Core 3.4 GHz| GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 6Gb | RAM: 32 GB DDR4 @ 3000 MHz | OS: Win 10 64 bit | HD: 500 Gb SSD
razo+r Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 (edited) I cannot confirm. In both attempts, after disengaging the AP, the aircraft does a roll to the left side after the drop of either the GBU-24 or GBU-10 from the right wing pylon. Attach a short track of your issue. ruddy122 Posted August 16, 2023 Author Posted August 16, 2023 Weird right I'll drop GBU-10/24 from CFT and Center Pylon and put GBU 500 pounders on the wing I'll put a short track if it happens again got my Left and Right confused I remember trimming right wing down to compensate [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] LUCKY:pilotfly::joystick: Computer Specs CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 6-Core 3.4 GHz| GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 6Gb | RAM: 32 GB DDR4 @ 3000 MHz | OS: Win 10 64 bit | HD: 500 Gb SSD
