I encounter this condition from time to time. Where setting cyclic trim, causes cyclic input to be ignored. Canceling trim does not return. Its not really reproducible. The cyclic input remains frozen. It just happens, at worst times.

If you are using Center Position Trimmer mode, are you are sure you are allowing your stick to return to exact center again?
