RWC Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 Hi guys, Issue 1 : Nevatim airbase has several runways for use. How ever only runway 07 or runway 25 ,on the South area,is used, no matter how the wind is turned (tested). The departing aircraft also do not use the adjacent taxiway for taxi, but instead use the runway 07/25 for backtrack AND taxi. So in a 2 ship formation, 1 aircraft waits at the 25 for the other to backtrack departure on 07. Not to mention during approach one has to wait until the previously landed aircraft has vacated the runway because of the backtracking. Issue 2 : Since parking 1 and 23 are assigned for heavy aircraft for departure, they do not seem to be able to depart from those parking spots. The aircraft just remain stationary after startup. Anyone else have this issue ? Kind regards, RWC 2
MAXsenna Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 Hopefully all this will be reworked when we eventually get the new ATC. Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk 2 1

Starfire13 Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 This is still not fixed and essentially makes Nevatim unusable as it takes over 2 hours for a bunch of aircraft to take off. 3

OnReTech has at least acknowledged it here: My issue isn't really with a lack of response. It's the fact that there have been so many airfield issues with Sinai since launch (granted, some have been fixed), and this is a pretty major one (making an entire airfield unusable) and still hasn't been fixed so many months after being identified. Unlike some of the other airfield problems on Sinai, this one shouldn't require any extensive remodelling. I'd really like to have Nevatim usable. 1

Priority - medium <<<<<<< MEDIUM ????? I actually ended up modifying my campaign (Red Sea Rising) to use Tel Nof rather than wait for a fix for Nevatim. Sinai is the only map where I've had to do this multiple times due to all the airfield issues. A great many of the major ones have been fixed (e.g. hangars half sunk into the ground, jets rolling out of hangars and exploding because the hangars were placed on a slope), but aircraft routing issues are still an unfixed issue on several airfields. 1 1
