need track replay JTAC is incompetent

After I loaded AH64 with mix of L and K hellfires, the Reaper JTAC will not follow setup from ME:
I've set the JTAC to use laser, but he (well, Wags) insists on using IR pointer.
Daylight mission, and I can not see it.
Same mission worked before the addition of Limas.
Wut? How? Bug?
