cannot repoduce and missing track file ACLS

After I call out "Platform" to ATC I seem to be losing the datalink. The airspeed and altitude parameters are no longer displayed on the ACL.  I think I have the carrier setup correctly as I get the proper landing instructions until I call "platform".  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Can you tell us more? Single Player? With/without AI? Did you make the mission yourself? I can test it if you want..

Have you set LINK 4 and ICLS to appropriate frequencies in advanced waypoint options?

Hi guys, it was a single player mission I made myself to practice case III.  It turns out that I set the mission up as a case II thinking it would be the same, when I changed the mission time to 0200 it worked as expected.

Why would that be though?  I watched a case III tutorial were the mission was set as a case II and the player received ACL updates all the way in.  From my perspective I had zero visibility and even when I was practically on top of the boat I could barely see it.  I did have fog turned off.

I thought case II and case III were the same as far as the landing procedures go?

No, Case II is a merge of Case III and Case I - you have holding and commencing from Case III, but you don't land straight in, but enter Case I pattern.

Ah I see, so even though I was experiencing poor visibility the conditions locally at the carrier were still considered acceptable as a case I.  Thank you for clearing that up for me.

Condition are good enough for pattern, but not for marshal stack over carrier.
