Lase time for GBU-12s

Does anyone know why the DSMS settings page will not allow me to set the LS time for lasing the GBU-12s?

I am able to do it in a weapons practice mission I created, but in another mission created some time ago, I am unable to set any time for LS Time. The keyboard does not show any signs of registering inputs and when I push the button next to LS Time, nothing happens. It stays at zero.

I made sure the DSMS MFD was SOI. Still same results.

This certainly sounds like the culprit right there.

Anything entered via the CDU keyboard should show up in the lower line of the CDU and should be repeated in the lower line of the HUD, surrounded by brackets, like so:

Does this show up for you?

I'm assuming you're referring to the latest DCS 2.9.0.46801 OpenBeta that was released earlier today, and I found no such issue in that version of DCS.

If the problem persists, can you create a short video or track and share that with us?

The DSMS is not a sensor and can't be SOI. Not sure what you're referring to there, but it sounds like a misunderstanding of the aircraft systems.

It's working now. Your comment helped me troubleshoot. Not sure what happened, but I think some command or series of commands disabled the keypad. Weird.  hanks for your help.

It's pretty easy to get a [CICU INPUT ERROR] (or similar), and then any new input will be ignored.

This error can be cleared with the CDU CLR key and then the CDU will accept new inputs (IIRC  - I've got it mapped to my keyboard and I think it's the CLR key ).
