I'm getting random crashes in the F/A-18 and the F-16 on 4YA training server Caucasus map

I have 64GBs of RAM, 4070ti, 5800X, TBs of NVMe 4th gen storage and good cooling

Before it crashes it makes a clipping sound in my headset then brings up the crash report dialog, i already sent 2 and im reporting the 3rd one here

I can't explain the crash more, its very random, the first 2 were before taxi and before takeoff in the F-18 and the 3rd was a while after flying the F-16

EDIT: I have a Quest 2 VR

Log shows DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED

Which means Your graphic driver crashes. GPU is unresponsive.

This really nasty driver or gpu crash. Not looking good..

Try a clean reinstall newest NV driver.

Does your 2d monitor black or glitch too?

Have you edit the tdrlevel tdrdelay value in the registry?

I will clean reinstall the driver, if you mean random glitches and black screens, i wouldn't know because im in VR but in VR i get freezes sometimes if there's a high load like some type of ram usage increase. But when it crashes and i remove the VR i see a black screen for a while before the bug report pop up.

I have not edited any of those things, i do not know about them.

I had the same random crashes with the same logs, underclock your gpu slightly using MSI afterburner and make sure voltage control in the settings is on, my system did not require any undervolting though. I’m testing it and so far I’ve been able to play and finish 1-1,5 hr long missions.

I have the exact same card and can usually play for ever with no issues unless I turn on DLSS. Soon as I do that I will crash every time with in 10 mins. So, if you are playing with Dlss try turning that off and see how long you can play. I have not been able to figure out what causes DLSS to crash, I have tried with and without overclocking and no change.
