whats with air speed at 40k 50k 60k? - it is really off.

at 60k seeing 500kn airspeed on HUD is unheard off

please check

Were you approching M2.0? At 60k? That's also unheard of. Can you provide a short track (you can save one after exiting flight) or at least a screenshot?

found dial/HUD show cas not eas thats why, Thanks

 

why would that be different vs old ED f15c model showing airspeed metrics?

1. These are two different aircraft from different years - many things are different - please stop comparing them 1:1.

2. From manual F-15C HUD shows IAS, F-15E CAS - I don't own their conversion tables but certainly are not needed for a pilot flying at 60k/500kias.

for testing the model envelope limits yes its needed

class E over 60k for Mach2+ or so

fly under 10k with cesna no need for dcs.

find it hard to believe f15c on hud shows eas speed,

and later years all sudden f15e shows cas speed with extra 100s knots (different metric)

should be option to switch select

It's IAS, not EAS. If you think something is wrong - check the docs, manuals, test and show a track.

The E can show you either TAS or GS as addition on HUD.

Again, different years, different aircraft.

If the real aircraft does not provide the option there will be no such option in DCS.
